Commitment Link to section: Commitment§

The release floor for this site is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. A page that does not meet it is treated as a release defect.

How the site is built Link to section: How the site is built§

• Semantic HTML with landmarks, a logical heading order and a skip link to the main content.
• Every function works without JavaScript; the small script on the site only adds optional copy buttons.
• Visible keyboard focus that is not hidden behind other content.
• Text reflows to a single column at narrow widths and at up to 400% zoom, without horizontal scrolling of the page.
• Tables have captions and header cells; the accountability chain is a text list, not an image.
• Status and classification are always written out, never shown by colour alone.
• No animation, and a print layout that keeps document titles, status, URLs and citations.

Testing Link to section: Testing§

Every build is checked automatically for WCAG 2.2 AA issues with axe-core, and with scripted keyboard, reflow, reduced-motion and print checks. Manual testing with screen readers has not yet been completed. Its results will be published on this page.

Known limitations Link to section: Known limitations§

No unresolved accessibility defects are known at present. Some tables are wide; on small screens they scroll horizontally inside their own region, which can be reached and scrolled with the keyboard.
