Authority Model
ECZ-ID operates under a deterministic authority model. All actions—issuance, updates, revocation—must be traceable to a recognized authority node within the resolver’s canonical ledger.
Authority Hierarchy
- Root Authority defines system parameters and top-level issuance constraints.
- Subordinate nodes may be delegated scoped issuance or passport rights.
- All authority grants are time-bound and ledger-recorded.
Operational Limits
- No authority may exceed its own scope or modify its own assignment retroactively.
- All authority events must be independently verifiable via resolver lookup.
- Credentials or claims made outside the resolver model are non-canonical.
- ECZ-ID does not maintain trust by reputation or consensus. Authority is time-bound, formal, and revocable.
Authority enforcement is ledger-bound and resolver-first. No issuance or revocation occurs outside canonical pathways.
